About

My name is Noah Powell. I am a 20-year-old aspiring Journalist and Musician who has a love of exploring the world and meeting new people. I am currently in the Hussman School of Media and Journalism. I began writing music when I was 18, after I traveled across the country on a solo roadtrip. It was through these travels that I found a desire for journalism and music, and it is this desire which I hope to share with others.  I was a barista for 3 years as well, which has helped to hone my customer service skills, as well as my ability to work under pressure. I also work for the UNC podcast Pit Perspectives, in which I help to interview people and produce episodes. I speak German and hope to live in Germany at some point during my adult life. Recently, I have begun acting with the Carolina Film Association at UNC, and have picked up the hobby of Rock-climbing as well.
